Pizza Ranch was born in the heart of Roscoe, Illinois, from a simple but powerful idea: that great pizza should bring people together. Our founder, Ray Callahan, started with a wood-fired oven, a handful of fresh ingredients, and a deep love for the community he called home.

The pizzaranch concept grew organically — neighbors became regulars, regulars became family. Word spread about our signature ranch pizza flavors, hand-crafted doughs, and the warm, no-fuss hospitality that made every visit feel like coming home.

The Pizza Ranch Timeline

From humble beginnings to a thriving ranch pizza destination — here are the milestones that shaped who we are today.

1999

The First Oven

Ray Callahan opens Pizza Ranch in a modest storefront on Bluestem Rd, Roscoe. A single wood-fired oven and a menu of six pizzas — and a line out the door on opening night.

2004

Award-Winning Ranch Pizza

Pizza Ranch's signature ranch pizza wins the Illinois Regional Food Excellence Award, putting our little Roscoe spot on the map and tripling weekend traffic overnight.

2009

New Dining Room

We expanded our Bluestem Rd location, adding a full dining room and bar to accommodate the growing community. The pizzaranch family just got bigger.

2014

Delivery Launched

We launched our home delivery service, bringing the warmth of Pizza Ranch straight to customers' doors across Roscoe and the surrounding areas of Illinois.

2019

Online Ordering & 20th Anniversary

To celebrate 20 years, Pizza Ranch launched online ordering and hosted a community feast for 2,000 neighbors. We also introduced our catering service for events.

2024

Franchise Program Opens

Pizza Ranch officially opens its franchise program, inviting passionate entrepreneurs to bring the ranch pizza experience to new communities across the United States.
